Terry Austin has been awarded the Eagle Award 10 times and the CBG Award 7 times, as well as the odd Saturn and Alley Awards, for best Inker of the year for his work on such comics as THE UNCANNY X-MEN, CAMELOT 3000, BATMAN: DARK DETECTIVE, DR. STRANGE, SUPERMAN ADVENTURES, STAR WARS, DETECTIVE COMICS, GREEN LANTERN, SONIC X, X-MEN/TEEN TITANS, GREEN LANTERN/SILVER SURFER and SILVER SURFER/SUPERMAN. In 2008 he won the Inkwell Award for Favorite Inker (Retro Division) and in 2009 he received the Inkwell Joe Sinnott Hall of Fame Award (for outstanding accomplishment in the field of Comic Book Inking).
He has also written issues of CLOAK AND DAGGER, POWER PACK, EXCALIBUR, WHAT IF, MARVEL FANFARE, an X-MEN ANNUAL, and the adaptation of STAR WARS: SPLINTER OF THE MIND’S EYE.
