Gregory Wright stumbled into comics working as an editorial assistant for Marvel’s creator owned Epic Comics imprint, where his first boss and mentor was the amazing Archie Goodwin. He soon became an assistant editor under the also amazing Mark Gruenwald before becoming a crazed editor in his own right for Marvel and Epic Comics. Seeing as none of this paid enough money or provided enough creative satisfaction, Gregory began a prolific career as a writer and color artist while still an editor. After realizing creators have a much better gig that editors, he went freelance and started working for any company who would have him. While fans of the late, great Mike Wieringo might remember Wright’s long run on Sensational Spider-Man with Mike, Todd Dezago and Richard Case, he also managed to color and write way more titles and characters than anyone cares to list. Writing credits include Deathlok, Silver Sable, Daredevil, Morbius, Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD and The Squeeg. Color Artist credits include pretty much every Spider-Man title ever, Deathlok, Punisher, Thor, Captain America, Batman, Starman, Zero Hour, Teen Titans, Marvel/DC Crossovers that nearly killed him, Superman/Fantastic Four, Superman/Doomsday, ALIENS VS Predator, The Mask, Terminator, The Savage Dragon, Elephantmen, Wild Children, and Joe Frankenstein. Currently thrilled to be working on BANE: CONQUEST with Chuck Dixon and Graham Nolan. Gregory is currently incredible happy to be reunited with Todd Dezago and Richard Case for his color pages in this incredible Tellos tribute to our friend and collaborator Mike Wieringo.
