Fred Hembeck is both a cartoonist AND a comic book character (don’t ask…), and has a resume that includes roasting the Fantastic Four and destroying the Marvel Universe. Known for lovingly highlighting the absurd nature of super-heroes, his work has been published by companies as wide-ranging as IDW, Image, Archie, Eclipse, Fantaco, Fantagraphics, Claypool, Topps, Boom, DC, and was most recently extensively collected in the trade paperback, The Marvel Universe According to Hembeck. He lives in upstate New York with wife Lynn Moss and a massive comics
collection.
